Santa Cruz Exhibition: NAVIGATIONS Opening August 2

Stephanie Martin introduced me to birdwatching at the ocean during the pandemic. We found many connections in our love of the north coast beaches and in our printmaking work. I am very happy to show my recent bird woodcut collages with her at Little Giant Collective in Santa Cruz, California, 115 River Street (next to Mono Sushi behind Trader Joe’s) First Friday Reception is August 2 from 6:00-9:00.

My work in this exhibition was initiated at MOKUHANGA PROJECT SPACE RESIDENCY January 21-31, 2024, Walla Walla, Washington. Organized by Keiko Hara, the Project Space presents a variety of mokuhanga programs. I spent ten productive days at a residency working with three other artists: Charles Spitzack, Kathleen Hargrave and Andrew Stone, with impeccable technical assistance from artist Benjamin Selby who printed my architectural backgrounds.
