PLANS AND LEVITATIONS,
Large Format Digital Prints with Altered Architecture
June 28 to July 21, 2001
This exhibition was about the mathematical patterns underlying the shapes of the natural world. The symmetry and order of classical architecture provides a whimsical structure for arrays of plants and animals. The computer unites images from many sources to create these personal diagrams of the universe. The prints are constructed in the computer with many layers, the same as complex hand-made prints.
